West Indies' Ashley Nurse gained quite a bit of attention on Saturday after his unique celebration during the third ODI against India in Pune.

The all-rounder did what first seemed like a Bangladesh-style 'naagin dance', but later turned out to be the good-old 'babaji ka thullu', made famous of course by comedian Kapil Sharma.

Nurse did the move after taking the wicket of Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan on Saturday. This wasn't the first time he made the gesture as he had done the same on a couple of occasions earlier in the series as well.

Asked after the match what his celebration was all about, Nurse said that it was dedicated to an Indian friend he made during the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

"Just dedicating the celebration to my Indian friend - Sunny Sohal, whom I met at the CPL. He told me when you get a wicket to do a 'babaji ka thullu' or something. It's supposed to be very famous here," said the 29-year-old.

Nurse earned the Man of the Match award in the third ODI for his two wickets and quickfire 40. The visitors won by 43 runs and leveled the five-match series 1-1.
