World Cup 2019: As India are gearing to face Afghanistan at Ageas Bowl in Southampton, England, Indian opener Rohit Sharma's ex-girlfriend Sofia Hayat is again in the limelight.
Former Bigg Boss contestant, who was said to be dating the batsman back in 2012 - slammed a fan for his tweet questioning their relationship.
The fan had started highlighting Rohit’s achievements and felt why should the cricketer be with her. “2nd richest indian celebrity according to Forbes 7th popular athlete according to espn Ab rohit ki aukat @sofiahayat ko date krne hi he to hm kya karen?” posted a random fan.

This did not go down well and Sofia said that it is the person and not what he has achieved that matters. “Nahin! I don’t value a person by what he has. His achievements are with balls on a field..not off! To me what matters most in truth..he doesn’t have that..on pitch he lasts..off pitch is another story,” read her response.

She made headlines earlier after she penned down about how she met Rohit, and how they started dating and eventually parted ways in a book.
As for Rohit, the player - married to Ritika Sajdeh and a proud father to a baby girl - is in an astounding form in the ongoing World Cup with two crucial centuries in the first four matches.
