Cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir has been vocal about everything. The former player had joined BJP and won the Lok Sabha election from East Delhi.
Though turning into a politician was easy for the former batsman, however, leaving cricket somehow seems to be a difficult task.
Celebrating his second daughter Anaiza's birthday, Gambhir took to Twitter to wish her with a goofy Mankad reference.
He posted a picture of his daughters and wrote, "OMG! Looks like my elder one Aazeen (in background) has MANKADED my little b’day girl Anaiza (in foreground). Come on Aazeen u can’t pluck that cake, it’s against the spirit of the game!!! And Anaiza are you getting ready to box didi out? What’s happening @natashagambhir2"
The BJP MP was currently in the limelight when he tweeted about India vs Pakistan match just months after he had asked the team to boycott the game.

Three months back Gambhir at an event in Delhi had said, “Either you don’t play them anywhere or open doors for them. What happened in Pulwama is absolutely not acceptable. I am sure it’s going to be difficult to boycott Pakistan in the World Cup but they are not playing them in bilaterals. The best they can do is to stop playing in the Asia Cup as well, that’s what I believe."
Not just his tweet, but also his appearance on the sports channel - where he was seen on the panel extending his cricket prowess and analysing the clash - added to the misery.
