INDIA vs. AUSTRALIA World Cup 2023: On October 8, Sunday, India will play against Australia to open their 2023 World Cup to begin their campaign in an effort to overcome their 10-year ICC title drought. Marnus Labuschagne, the star Australian batter, has chosen the cricketer who will be difficult to stop, a week before the match. It is neither Shubman Gill, who just won Man of the Series in the just concluded bilateral series at home, nor Virat Kohli, who has a stellar record against the Australians.

Rohit Sharma was identified by Labuschagne as the Indian player the Australians should be wary of. Sharma scored freely and without taking any risks, according to Labuschagne, who claimed that he is very difficult to stop once he gets going.

"Rohit Sharma is someone who scored quite freely without taking any risks. He's very hard to stop once get going," said Labuschagne. An even more hilarious exchange with Rohit Sharma occurred during the third ODI of the three-match series, he revealed.

"As I said to Rohit out there when we were walking. I said 'I am watching whatever you do, I want to learn. You guys are the best in these conditions. We are foreign to these conditions. You learn from the opposition, you learn from the way they do it. We try and learn and grow with each game," he added.
