Indicating that the ongoing telecom war between the biggies might intense further, Bharti Airtel has reportedly  planning to invest Rs 32,000 crore in next two financial years.

The move would help the company to widen its network and gain 3-4% in revenue market. The dynamics of telecom market had been changed completely after Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Jio, that frther led to the merger of two big players Vodafone India and Idea Cellular into one big entity.

“We're doing Rs 16,000-17,000 crore (in capex) this year (through March 2018) and my sense is that it will be in that ball park for next couple of years at least,” an Airtel official told to the Economic Times.

He further told the newspaper that the carrier generates cashflows of around Rs 20,000 crore annually. Airtel, Vodafone India and Idea have been investing heavily to expand data coverage to stay in the competition with Jio’s popular 4G data among customers.

In the last fiscal, Airtel invested Rs 15,000 crore, Vodafone Rs 8,300 crore and Idea Rs 8,000 crore to upgrade their respective networks.

However, the official ruled out any possibility of lowering prices stating that the rates cannot be slashed further in order to protect its average revenue per user (ARPU).

Meanwhile, Airtel has come out with another lucrative offer to try to stay ahead of its competitors. It is offering 60GB data free to its postpaid users. This is over a period of 6 months, so users will get 10GB data per month.

The catch is that, users need to download Airtel TV app. Here's how you can avail the free data offer.

If you don't have the My Airtel app, download it in your Android or IOS supported smartphone. Once it done, open the app, and click of the banner ad and redeem the free data. Once the instructions are properly followed, the free data will be credited within a day, according to reports. The company is looking to popularise its Airtel TV app, at a time when data prices are crashing in India. Most of the telecom giants are following similar route. Airtel's latest offer is essentially a mark-up of its Monsoon Offer which was offering 30GB for 3 months. After the introduction of Reliance Jio, there has been a massive disruption in the Indian telecom sector and competitors like Airtel are now trying to finetune their strategy.
