Won’t Buy Won’t Sell! Deepika Padukone conducts 'Chhapaak' social experiment on sale of acid; check out video

Deepika Padukone starrer Chhapaak, although has not been doing well at the box office, it has won hearts of people who watched the film. This Meghna Gulzar directorial is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The film shows Malti played by Deepika shows her struggle and ultimate victory in banning the sale of acid and seeking justice after being attacked by a man after she said no to marrying him.

Today, Deepika released a video in which the actor conducted a social experiment in knowing if the sale of acid is still on and if the rules are followed for the same or not. The actor and her team hired a bunch of actors to go undercover and buy acid from shops in and around the city. She is seen monitoring the social experiment while in a car and is shocked to see how easily people are selling acid to anyone asking about it.

Moreover, only one person seemed to be strict on selling acid as the shopkeeper asks for ID proof from the person who wants to buy it.
