Women of 'Kalank': An elegant Sonakshi Sinha aka Satya Chaudhry's eyes are filled with love in her first look

On the occasion of International Women's Day, the makers of Kalank have decided to unveil the first look of the female characters from the film. They started the day by revealing Alia Bhatt's first look and it's something which has become a talk of the town instantly. In the poster, Alia looks drop-dead gorgeous as a bride and it's something which we haven't seen before. Her character is named Roop and Karan Johar described her as 'To love her is to love fire'.

Now, we finally got to see Sonakshi Sinha's first look and it's simply the best. The actor's look was kept under wraps since the time she was shooting for the film and fans were dying to know about it. In the poster, Sonakshi is seen as a married woman and her beautiful eyes are filled with love. Her character is named Satya Chaudhry in Kalank. Karan posted Sonakshi's first look with a caption, "She is pure, elegant and filled with love. Here’s Satya! @aslisona #WomenOfKalank #Kalank"

With this first look, we assume that Sonakshi is likely to play Aditya Roy Kapur's onscreen wife. What say?

Talking about Kalank, the film is directed by Abhishek Varman and co-produced by KJo under his home banner Dharma Productions. Apart from Alia, Sonakshi and Aditya, the film also stars Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Sanjay Dutt and Varun Dhawan in the lead roles. The movie is set in the 1940s and is slated to release on April 19, 2019.
