Actress, singer and a well known star kid Shruti Hassan recently posted a few pictures in a ravishing metallic look which was criticised by the netizens. She has often wowed people with her style on social media by pulling off both soft and bold looks effortlessly, but her recent metallic look attracted some uncalled for trolling. 

In her interview with Pinkvilla, the actress said, “I love that whole aesthetic. I get comments like what happened to you, you look like 'chudail' and I say ok. Yeah, it's fine...that's cool because witches are bad so I love that. I will be chudail  (witch) that's fine. I think they don't realize when they call me witch that it's the greatest compliment because I think somewhere I've aspired to be rock and roll witch anyway..so it's great.”

Shruit said she is okay with people calling her a ‘chudail’ because she takes it in an optimistic way, however, when the criticism goes overboard it affects her.

Hassan added that she did not wear a black lipstick so that netizens could put a gold star on her. She did it because she wanted to do it and she will continue doing so. 

She also said that the public is delusional about her preferences. The actress explained that her love for metal and goth culture is immaculate because of which she embraces all her dark looks irrespective of what the netizens say.

“I feel numerous false impressions for me is as a result of I grew up by idolizing and I like the entire steel scene, I like the Goth subculture,” stated Shruti.
