Even as Super 30’s trailer continues to garner appreciation, the film’s makers are keen on having a promotional event at the world’s oldest educational institute, the Nalanda University, in Bihar. More so, after they couldn’t launch the movie’s trailer there.

According to sources, the team felt that unveiling the film’s first look at this prestigious knowledge centre would help to bring the focus of the world to India’s first-ever university which finds its significance and heritage in ancient history.

However, organising an event there would mean that huge crowds would turn up to catch a glimpse of the movie’s leading actor, Hrithik Roshan and the current security arrangements may not be adequate to manage the situation. Nonetheless, the Kaabil actor and the makers of Super 30 are keen to visit Nalanda in the coming weeks.

“When we learnt that Nalanda University is functional with new centres for language and education, we wanted to unveil the trailer there in the presence of all the current students. Unfortunately, the authorities told us that they would need more time for preparations since such a big superstar would be visiting the premises. Therefore, we will now go there to promote our movie,” our source says.

Hrithik is excited to visit the research institution. Based on mathematician Anand Kumar’s life, the Vikas Bahl directorial also features Mrunal Thakur.

Super 30, presented by Reliance Entertainment in association with HRX Films, produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Phantom Films and Reliance Entertainment and released by Reliance Entertainment and PVR Pictures, opens in cinemas on July 12.
