Days ago, when Virat Kohli was asked by a fan to share a glimpse of daughter Vamika, he immediately turned it down.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli along with their daughter Vamika were recently snapped outside Mumbai airport leaving for England ahead of the World Test Championship tour. After a green signal from the UK government, allowing families to accompany cricketers on the four-month-long tour, the B-town actress along with her daughter Vamika and cricketer-husband Virat, was seen leaving for the latter's tour in England.
Anushka Sharma who was carrying little Vamika in a baby carrier was snapped getting down from a bus in which Virat and she were accompanied by the entire Indian cricket team and their families.
As expected, Anushka Sharma's photos carrying little munchkin Vamika went viral on the internet as she tried to cover her face and prevent the paps from taking any pictures revealing her daughter's face.
However, one photo of the actress getting down from the bus while wrapping her arms around Vamika has been breaking the internet. In the said photo, Vamika's face is slightly visible as she soundly sleeps in the carrier. This is the first photo where fans could get even the slightest glimpse of what Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's daughter Vamika looks like.
This shall be Vamika's first overseas outing with her parents.
Earlier, the couple had shared a few photos on their social media handle featuring Vamika, but her face was not revealed in it.

Days ago, when Virat Kohli conducted an ‘Ask Me’ session on Instagram, he was asked by a fan to share a glimpse of daughter Vamika. He immediately turned it down.
While Virat did explain the meaning of the name of his daughter patiently, he refused instantly, to share a glimpse of his daughter. "Vamika is another name for Goddess Durga. No, we have decided as a couple to not expose our child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice." Kohli said in his response.
Earlier, in an interview with Vogue India, on the topic of engaging their child on social media, Anushka had said, "We’ve thought about it a lot. We definitely do not want to raise a child in the public eye—we don’t plan on engaging our child in social media. I think it’s a decision your child should be able to take. No kid should be made to be more special than the other. It’s hard enough for adults to deal with it. It’s going to be difficult, but we intend to follow through."
