On Tuesday, veteran actor Anupam Khewaked down memory lane to a time when 'looking at the camera was a style statement' and a 'plate of food in the hand was a natural thing'.
Taking to Instagram, Anupam Kher Wednesday shared a priceless throwback picture in which he was seen posing with Shah Rukh Khan and Jackie Shroff. Apparently, the photograph was clicked in the early 90s when SRK was still establishing himself as the Badshah of Bollywood and Jackie Shroff was still ruling the hearts of the females with his handsome looks. It seems the photograph was taken at a Bollywood party the trio were attending.
In the picture, while Anupam Kher is seen wearing a white kurta pyjama, SRK is seen sporting a formal coat teamed with a pastel coloured shirt. He held a plate of snacks in his hand as he posed for the photograph. On the other hand, Jackie Shroff who was dressed in a formal outfit paired with his head covered with a long scarf seemed a little distracted.
Anupam shared the picture on Instagram and Twitter with the caption, "When innocently looking at the camera was a style statement!! Unless you are @apnabhidu!!! Anupam's post evoked a response from Jackie who left a series of heart emojis. in the comments section. His son, actor Tiger Shroff wrote, "amazing" along with a red heart emoji. Fans too reacted to the vintage post.
Earlier this week, on the occasion of his wife, actor-turned-politician Kirron Kher's 69th birthday, Anupam penned a heartwarming note for her along with throwback pictures to make the day special.
The 'Saaransh' actor took to his Instagram handle to share some priceless pictures of his wife from their family album. In the series of pictures, the 'Om Shanti Om' star is seen posing with Dalai Lama, Hollywood stars- Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper. In the last snap is a precious picture of a father-daughter duo where Kirron is seen posing with her late father- Army officer Colonel Thakar Singh Sandhu. Meanwhile, on the work front, Anupam Kher had also won the Best Actor award at the New York City International Film Festival for his short film titled 'Happy Birthday', adding a feather to his cap. The film also bagged the Best Short Film award at the prestigious film festival. Apart from 'Happy Birthday', Anupam has several other projects in the pipeline including 'The Last Show', 'Mungilal Rocks', and 'The Kashmir Files'.
