Mira Rajput Kapoor on Friday (June 4) shared an adorable photo of her and Shahid Kapoor’s son, Zain Kapoor on her Instagram story. In the photo, the little munchkin can be seen dressed in a cream coloured kurta and off-white pyjama.
Originally shared by fashion designer Kunal Rawal, the photo was a part of the series, Kunal Rawal Men, as Zain was dressed in one of his designs. Mira re-shared the photo on her Instagram story along with the sticker reading, “gobble gobble.”
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor got married in 2015 in a private ceremony. They are parents to 4-year-old daughter Misha and 2-year-old son Zain. The couple has stopped sharing pictures of their children on social media but Mira sometimes posts about her children’s activities on Instagram.
Mira and Shahid are doting parents and share parenting duties. Earlier, during an Instagram live Mira said, “I read something the other day, which said, ‘Don’t treat dad as a babysitter, treat him like a parent.’ By that, what you mean is, dad is not going to be there when mom needs time off. Dad is going to do what dad does, he is not going to fill in for mom because he has his own role.”
Mira added that Shahid and her share different equations with their children as this will help them build a good relationship. “It was important for the children to have their own equation with each parent because, at the end of the day, they have a different bond with a parent and they have a different bond with another parent. My kids are totally different with me than they are with Shahid. They enjoy doing different things with him and they enjoy doing different things with me,” Mira added.
Rajput also said that there are times when she takes a time off and Shahid takes good care of the kids. “That really helps with the bonding of the kids and their dad. And the kids and me, we just get time to recharge” she said.
