The trailer of Sanjay Dutt's movie 'Torbaaz' is finally unveiled, and it is a war to protect children
After the long wait, Sanjay Dutt's upcoming movie 'Torbaaz' is slated for release on Netflix. The trailer of the film was unveiled some time back.
The trailer shows Dutt as the protagonist while Rahul Dev is the antagonist in the film. As soon as Dev enters, the trailer sees a change - in accents.
Soon after Rahul Dev's entry and making it clear that he wants to use children from Afghanistan refugee camps as human bombs, things go haywire in the trailer. From there on, it is just a war between him and Sanjay Dutt.
Dutt makes it clear from the beginning of the trailer that he wants to see children play 'cricket'. He goes on to say that he wants to see cricket balls in their hands, and portrays himself as the saviour for the children.
Nargis Fakhri, who was expected to be the female lead in the film, is also seen in the trailer but for a brief period.
The synopsis of the film read, "At an Afghanistan refugee camp, an ex-army doctor seeks to bring children joy through cricket — and soon realizes that the stakes go beyond the sport."
Sanjay Dutt plays the role of a cricket coach in the film. Direected by Girish Malik, 'Torbaaz' is slated for release on December 11, 2020.
Dutt was last seen in Mahesh Bhatt's 'Sadak 2', which also released on OTT. The movie featured Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur in lead roles too.
Sanjay Dutt will also be seen in Yash-starrer 'KGF: Chapter 2'. He will also be seen as an antagonist in YRF's movie 'Shamshera' featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.
