'Suraiyya' song teaser from 'Thugs of Hindostan': Aamir Khan-Katrina Kaif's fun chemistry in this peppy number is lovely

The makers of cinematic extravaganza Thugs of Hindostan, have dropped the teaser of a new song from the film, titled Suraiyya, which features Katrina Kaif in her stunning, glamourous avatar and Aamir Khan (Firangi), dressed as a British captain.

The full song, which is slated to release only with the release of the film, has been composed by Ajay-Atul, with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

From the video, it is evident that the song is a peppy, humorous song where Aamir tries to dance with Suraiyya Jaan (Katrina), but she tries to avoid him, which leads to their banter! 

The fun chemistry between the duo is  visible. They had earlier spelt charm in Dhoom 3 chartbuster Malang. 

Suraiyya, crooned by Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Dadlani, sees some vivacious dance moves by Katrina, which will surely leave you spellbound. 

Renowned choreographer Prabhudheva has combined old Indian dance forms with intricate contemporary moves in the song.

While talking about the song, Thugs of Hindostan director Vijay Krishna Acharya said, “Suraiyya is a song that gives a sneak peek into the flirtatious relationship between Firangi and Suraiyya. While she is Hindostan’s most famous performer, Firangi is an equally cunning man whom Suraiyya doesn’t trust at all. They have a fun chemistry, they are an odd pair and they are both Thugs in their own right. Prabhudheva has done a sensational job in creating steps that only Katrina Kaif could pull off. I’m sure audiences will love it.”

Thugs of Hindostan, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh is set to release on November 8 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
