Sukhwinder Singh Day in Frisco, Texas

Sukhwinder Singh has had two songs —Turpeya and Thap —Thap in Bharat and also looks forward to Sanjay Dutt-starrer Shamshera as far as his film projects go. But the singer is equally excited about having May 19 celebrated as Sukhwinder Singh Day in Frisco, USA. The Jai Ho hitmaker was in the Texan city for a show for the AAPI (American Association of Physicians of Indian origin) and the day was named after him in his honour. 

Sukhwinder said, “The fact that they felicitated me by celebrating a day named after me is just surreal. I was there to perform nine shows for the doctors present there but the shows were such a success that we ended performing three more.”
