Sara Ali Khan remembered SSR and talked about how he introduced her to acting and made her believe that dreams come true.
Sara Ali Khan made her debut into Bollywood with the movie, ‘Kedarnath’ starring opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. On the actor’s first death anniversary today, (June 14), Sara still can’t believe that he’s gone. Remembering her first co-star, the 25-year-old actress penned an emotional note talking about how SSR introduced her to acting and made her believe that dreams come true.
Sara shared a photo where she and Sushant are clicked inside a swimming pool with huge grins on their faces. Along with the photo, she wrote, "Whenever I needed help, advice or a laugh you were always there. You introduced me to the world of acting, made me believe that dreams could come true, and gave me all that I have today. Still can’t believe you’re gone. But every time I look at the stars, the rising sun or the moon I know you’re here. From Kedarnath to Andromeda.”
During the release of Sushant’s last film, Dil Bechara, she took to Instagram and shared a photo of him and her father Saif Ali Khan, who a had a cameo in the movie and wrote a tribute for them. “The only two gentlemen that have spoken to me about Sartre, Van Gogh, telescopes and constellations, guitars, The Northern Lights, cricket, Pink Floyd, Nusrat Saab and acting techniques. This is to the last thing you two have in common- #DilBechara,” she wrote in her Instagram post.
Sara Ali Khan was summoned by the NCB in 2020 in connection with the Sushant Rajput drugs case. The actor confessed to dating Rajput briefly and also accompanied him on a trip to Thailand.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra flat on June 14 last year, leaving his friends, family and fans shocked. The ED had on July 31 last year registered an Enforcement Case Information Report in the late actor`s death case after a First Information Report (FIR) was filed by Rajput’s father KK Singh against actor Rhea Chakraborty in Bihar on July 28.
