Saba Qamar remembers receiving Eidi from late Irrfan Khan on sets of 'Hindi Medium', watch viral video

It's been more than a year since Irrfan Khan passed away but his family, friends and fans miss him immensely. The late actor has worked not only in Indian films but gained fame internationally too. One of the most memorable films of Irrfan is 'Hindi Medium' which released in 2017. The film directed by Saket Chaudhary marked the Bollywood debut of Pakistani actor Saba Qamar. Now, we came across a video of the actor where she recalls the time when she received Eidi from Irrfan during the 'Hindi Medium' shoot.

Saba is heard saying, "It was the first time that I was away from home on Eid, and I told Irrfan that I want my Eidi and he gave me this."

Qamar had also shared the photo on her Instagram page with a caption stating, "Best Eidi from the best co-star. On the sets of Hindi Medium #irfankhan @sabaqamarzaman #Eidi #eidday #hindimedium #Delhi #Maddockfilms."

In the video, Saba remembers Irrfan by saying, "I had been his fan since childhood. I always wanted to work with him and I used to always say that if I ever got an opportunity from India, I’d like to work with Irrfan Khan — and I was lucky that the first opportunity I got was with him. I learned a lot from him."

When Irrfan passed away, she had penned an emotional note stating, "Deeply disturbed to hear about the passing of Irrfan Khan. It feels like yesterday coming back from the sets of Hindi Medium. You taught me a lot as an actor and a mentor. Such a brilliant actor, gone too soon."
