Rashmika who earned the sobriquet 'India's National Crush' for her beauty and grace, is being slammed left, right and centre by netizens for drooling over Vicky Kaushal's underwear strap. Well, yes! You read that right.
Recently, Rashmika shot a TV commercial opposite Vicky Kaushal for a men's underwear brand and the contents of the same didn't go down well with netizens who have called out the diva for doing one of the 'cheapest' ads in recent times. In the said TVC, Rashmika is apparently ogling over the 'Raazi' star's underwear strap.
Netizens took to social media to express their disappointment and point out that with the choice of this TVC, Rashmika had upset her fans. Some even went ahead and stated that the actress should choose her projects carefully and not be a part of such 'vulgar' ads.
In the TVC, Rashmika is seen playing the character of a Yoga trainer and Vicky Kaushal is her attractive young student. During their yoga sessions, the actress starts staring at Kaushal's underwear's waistband. The next day, when Kaushal arrives for his session, Mandanna keeps the yoga mat on the top of a shelf so that Kaushal has to reach out to get it and she can stare at his underwear strap once again. Ugh.
Soon after the TVC went on-air, netizens called it out for being 'cheap'. "The advertisement of Amul Macho was TERRIBLE. These Cheap ads are not expected from you Geetha," tweet a netizen, while another one wrote, "Nowadays what is going on with underwear advertisements. 1st Lux Cozi ad was making nonsense and discomfort on TV and now MACHO ad also going on the same path. What the hell is happening with the publicity team of underwear, deodorant companies."
