Raj Kaushal dies: Grief-stricken, inconsolable Mandira Bedi heads for the last rites

Actress Mandira Bedi's husband, filmmaker Raj Kaushal, passed away on Wednesday morning. Kaushal reportedly succumbed to a heart attack. He is survived by his wife and children Veer and Tara.

Several friends and industry colleagues took to social media on Wednesday to mourn his demise. And now, photos from his last rites have sent netizens into complete shock and mourning. 

A grief-stricken and inconsolable Mandira Bedi is seen heading for the last rite of her husband as friends lend her emotional support. Kaushal's funeral in Bandra on Wednesday morning was attended by his friends from the industry including Huma Qureshi, Apurva Agnihotri, Samir Soni, Ronit Roy, Gul Panag and Ashish Chaudhary among others.

Raj Kaushal and Mandira Bedi got married on February 14, 1999. The couple has a son named Vir, who was born in 2011 and in October 2020, they adopted a girl child of 4 years, naming her Tara Bedi Kaushal.

Raj was the producer of films such as 'Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi' (1999), 'Shaadi Ka Laddoo' (2004), 'My Brother… Nikhil' (2005). He directed a few films including 'Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi', 'Shaadi Ka Laddoo' and 'Anthony Kaun Hai'.
