Actor-producer Anushka Sharma, who is in the last few weeks of her pregnancy, recently did a photoshoot with a leading fashion magazine in which the star looked flawless, confidently flaunting her baby bump as she posed for the cameras.

In her tell-all interview to Vogue India, Anushka, who hasn't really spoken about her pregnancy ever since she announced it in August this year, opened up about parenthood, how she plans on approaching life post the delivery of her and cricketer-husband Virat Kohli's firstborn.

As someone who is known to have a very thoughtful, clear and conscious approach towards life and various facets of it, including managing to stay away from the public eye as and when she deems fit for her private life (remember she secretly tied the knot with Virat in Tuscany), Anushka, on being asked about the constant pressure on A-list stars to share glimpses of their children on social media and the paparazzi waiting hours to click relentless pictures of star kids out and about with parents, the access had an unambiguous answer to it. She was clear that both Virat and she would like to retain normalcy and privacy.

Anushka said, "We’ve thought about it a lot. We definitely do not want to raise a child in the public eye—we don't plan on engaging our child in social media. I think it's a decision your child should be able to take. No kid should be made to be more special than the other. It's hard enough for adults to deal with it. It's going to be difficult, but we intend to follow through."

Earlier this month, in a candid conversation with daughter-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sharmila Tagore, who was a guest at the 'Udta Punjab' star's radio show 'What Women Want', on Taimur getting a lot of media attention, the veteran star had said, "Yes, social media is a concern. Many influences would shape your child; you won't be able to control those influences. Later on, when he's grown up enough to really access social media, he will be bombarded with so many information. But I feel what the media does is builds you up and then suddenly dumps you." She quipped, "Tomorrow Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma will have a child, Taimur might be relegated. I hope so..."

Meanwhile, in her interview with Vogue, Anushka, who is beaming with joy as the weeks to her due date get closer, revealed the important piece of advice that she has received from her 'village'.

"The advice I have gotten is that you have to learn as you go you can't pressurise yourself, but you have to be prepared because there will be curveballs," Anushka said.
