'Zabardasti pregnant mat banao,' says Poonam Pandey as she quashes pregnancy rumours

Model-turned actor Poonam Pandey has quashed all pregnancy rumours about her. It was being reported that she was six weeks pregnant and is expecting her first child with her husband, director Sam Bombay. 

Poonam denied all the rumours and urged the media not to declare her pregnant when she is not. She said that her life is like an open book, and she would distribute sweets the day she actually gets pregnant.

In an interview with Zoom, Poonam said, “Zabardasti pregnant mat banao. For women, it is good news and for me, it was bad, as I was not pregnant. Ek bar puch toh loh. Anything about my life is like an open book. Me pede batungi, agar me pregnant hu.”

The two got married in an intimate ceremony in September last year at their home in Bandra, Mumbai. She had announced the news on Instagram sharing a picture from the ceremony.

Less than a month after her marriage, she filed a complaint against her husband claiming that he had physically abused her which led to her hospitalisation for several days. 

The couple was arrested last year in November in Goa for sharing obscene content on social media. They were booked under sections 292,293,294 and 447 of the Indian Penal Code.
