After Mahesh Bhatt and Rhea Chakraborty's WhatsApp chats were leaked on the Internet, now Soni Razdan and Pooja Bhatt have defended the filmmaker. A while back, Pooja took to her Twitter page and slammed a report in which they showed 'explosive' chats between Mahesh and Rhea. It looked like a forwarded message which Pooja confirmed.

She tweeted, "Interestingly, the message refers to as ‘most explosive revelation’ is a message that my father also sent me & countless other people on his phone list on the same day (June 9) & subsequently posted on Twitter as well (26-6-2020) get your facts right."

To which, Soni quote tweeted and wrote, "Yes true. Here is mine. We get them every day. When will news channels actually give us real news and not fabricated spin-offs? Most seem to have turned into uglier more salacious versions of Stardust and Cine Blitz."

Check out the tweets below:

The forwarded message read as "Sometimes to really see things the way that they truly are, you have to take a step back, and another step, and then a few more." While another message read as "Loneliness plays a key in nurturing the seed of personal creativity and birthing one’s true self."

Mahesh Bhatt's name has been surfacing for a few months in Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The filmmaker has been questioned by the Mumbai Police too.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the filmmaker is gearing up for the release of Sadak 2 which stars Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.
