Mishti Mukherjee dies due to kidney failure

It is a sad time for the industry, with many celebrity deaths one after another. While the nation is still trying to recover from actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death, news about Hindi and Bengali film actress Mishti Mukherjee's passing away started making rounds of the internet.

Mishti died due to kidney failure, after going on a keto diet. She breathed her last on Friday evening in Bangalore. Her father confirmed the news to DNA.

"Mishti Mukerjee was very very thin & she was on keto diet she was suffering from 6 to 7 days she was taken to a hospital too her cremation was done today," he said. "Her mother is still in deep shock by her passing away..," added Mishti's father.

Apart from working in films, Mishti was also part of music videos. She is survived by her mother, father and brother.

The industry lost various legends like Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Wajid Khan, Saroj Khan, and Sushant Singh Rajput this year. Mishti's demise has also brought a shock to one and all.
