Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Priyanka Chopra first among the celebrities to cast her vote in Mumbai, shares selfie

Finally, the day has come in Mumbai, where people are rushing to polling booths to cast their vote in Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Since morning at 7, several celebrities have been snapped while making their way to vote and they are even proudly saying it on social media pages. One of the Bollywood celebrities, who made an early appearance at the polling booths is none other than Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The actor, who is currently in Mumbai fulfilled her duties as the citizen of the country. 

While heading to cast her vote, Priyanka was seen wearing a white tee and sheer pants with a cream coloured coat. She teamed it up with nude pumps and shades. Priyanka was joined by her mom Madhu Chopra while heading to vote. The actor took to her Instagram page and shared a selfie flaunting her inked finger. She wrote, "This is the moment that matters.... Every vote is a voice that counts. #LokSabhaElections2019"

Before heading to vote, Priyanka shared a Boomerang video on her Instagram story and wrote, "Who is coming out to vote with me today Mumbai?

Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka will be seen in a Bollywood film after a hiatus of three years. She is starring in The Sky Is Pink alongside Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. The movie is helmed by Shonali Bose and is hitting the screens on October 11, 2019.
