Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor Khan have reportedly agreed to make a joint appearance on 'Koffee With Karan 6'
Trust Karan Johar to do the unexpected, the impossible. The producer-filmmaker has apparently managed to pull off the mother of all coups by convincing alleged foes Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor Khan to make a joint appearance on 'Koffee With Karan Season 6'!
"The ladies haven’t yet shot for their episode but have given their nod to a joint show," a Mumbai Mirror report stated. If this piece of news comes out to be true, then this would definitely be one of the biggest episodes in the history of 'Koffee With Karan'.
Bollywood's two most popular and gorgeous actresses - Kareena and Priyanka have always shared a love-hate relationship with each other. Although Priyanka made her debut with 'Aitraaz', a film that also starred Kareena, the two could never get to like each other.
Shahid Kapoor, who was Kareena's boyfriend at one point of time, got allegedly involved with Priyanka Chopra after their break-up. And rumours of cold war between the actresses started surfacing.
The rumours got a huge blow after the ladies made controversial remarks about each other on Karan's chat show. Kareena had commented on Priyanka saying, "I wonder where Priyanka got her accent from?" Priyanka, who later appeared on another episode of KWK took the opportunity and responded to it, saying: "I think it's the same place that her boyfriend gets it from," referring to Saif Ali Khan and his education abroad.
When she was asked what she would steal from computers of Bollywood superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and others, Priyanka giggled and asked, "Does Kareena have a computer in the first place?"
The cold war reached the roofs when Priyanka reacted to Kareena's comment about 'not caring about national awards'. Kareena had said: "I don't want the national award… I seriously don't need any such thing. I would only want the audience to go and watch the film once and that will be more than enough for me. Once everybody should see the movie and say it is a good watch."
Priyanka responded to it by saying: "Well, I guess if you don't have one (National Award), then it's just sour grapes!"
However, in the previous season of KWK Kareena seemed to have had a change of heart about PeeCee. She not just acknowledged her work but also went on to say that the girl 'has made the nation proud'.
Priyanka had also said some really sweet things about Saif, Kareena and Taimur Ali Khan earlier. So we suppose Kareena and Priyanka are ready to call truce on Karan's show. We are super excited!! What about you, guys?
