Karan Johar launched season 6 of 'Koffee With Karan' on a grand note with Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. The ladies got candid about their beaus - Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor, their impending marriages, films, industry relationships and more in tonight's episode.
The actresses clarified that there is no awkwardness between them because of the past Deepika shares with Ranbir. "I'm not someone who holds on to bad feelings, negativity, I can't do that. It is important to understand people and their personalities and it is important to let go."
Seeing their camaraderie, Karan asked the ladies if they will be open to going on a couple vacation to which Alia said, "It's totally possible." Karan then added that he and his twin babies - Roohi and Yash, will also tag along with them. Deepika instantly said, 'It will definitely happen". He asked them if Maldives sounds fine to which Alia said that she will like to go to a city. But, Deepika said she would prefer a place where they could relax.
Karan, then, said that he would like to see the four of them in a pool. To which Alia said, "Let me know, I will be prepping for my bikini bod."
While they admitted not being the best of friends, Alia said that they have always had a good time whenever they have hung out together. Deepika revealed that she first got to spend time with her in Berlin at an awards function.
They randomly decided to go for the Coldplay concert and that's where Alia says she figured Deepika can really let her hair down. Alia said that she had had an image of Deepika of being super poised but it was after that night that she got to know that she is a real party animal. "She can really party. She is a mad person...like a crack person," said Alia Bhatt of Deepika's partying.
Coincidentally, during the concert, the two ladies needed to take a loo break and barged into the men's washroom because there was a long line outside the ladies washroom.
