Janhvi Kapoor reacts to rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya's brother Veer Pahariya's debut Sky Force: 'Can't wait...'

On Monday morning, Akshay Kumar announced his upcoming film Sky Force, based on India's 'first and deadliest' airstrike, which happened around the 1965 India-Pakistan war. The film, scheduled to be released on October 2 next year on the occasion of Gandhi -Shastri Jayanti 2024, will mark the debut of Veer Pahariya.

Veer's maternal grandfather is the famous Indian politician Sushilkumar Shinde. Shinde served as the Minister of Home Affairs and Leader of the House in Lok Sabha in the last decade and was also the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra in the early 2000s. Veer had dated Sara Ali Khan a few years earlier and his younger brother Shikhar Pahariya dated Janhvi Kapoor at the same time.

Janhvi and Shikhar reportedly got together again earlier this year. They have been spotted together multiple times this year including during the Ganpati Visarjan in Sepember where the two were seen dancing together and at the Tirupati temple in August where the two were seen offering their prayers together.

As Veer's debut Sky Force was announced, Janhvi took to her Instagram Stories, shared the film's release date announcement video, and wrote, "This is going to be (two fire emojis). Can't wait Veer Pahariya", with a red heart emoji. Interestingly, it has been reported that Veer's ex Sara Ali Khan is the leading lady in the upcoming film.

Sky Force is being directed by Sandeep Kewlani & Abhishek Kapur and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under their production banners Maddok Films and Jio Studios, respecively. Akshay Kumar began shooting the film in Lucknow in last week of August when his photos and videos from the sets went viral.
