Ayushmann Khurrana, who will be seen in a different character in the investigative drama ‘Article 15’, feels that playing the cop was the most demanding role of his career. The actor who has always played challenging roles, will be seen in a never seen before heroic cop avatar in the movie which is inspired by real incidents and is already getting all the appreciation for his realistic portrayal. 

The ‘Andhadhun’ actor shares, “I feel this has been the most consuming and the toughest role I have ever played in my career. I have never played a cop but this role was very physically demanding, at the same time”. 

Article 15, an Anubhav Sinha directorial has a hard-hitting storyline, inspired by real events. The people who have watched the movie are already calling it the most important film of the year. 

The trailer of the film dropped a few days ago, which aimed to draw the parallels between how Article 15 in the Constitution prohibits discrimination and how it is still a norm in many parts of the country. Even before the trailer release, the makers had come out with a small pre-teaser, which said “Yeh Trailer dekhne ki aapki aukat nahi hai “.

The story of Article 15 revolves around the rape and murder of three minor girls, and Ayushmann plays the role of the investigating officer. The movie is set to release on June 28, 2019 and with the outing of the catchphrase- ‘Ab farq Laayenge’ along with the trailer, the excitement is already at its peak amongst the audience.
