Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has described her Karwa Chauth experience as the 'longest ever' for her. She shared a picture of herself dolled up for husband Gene Goodenough and explained why she felt it was actually the longest Karwa Chauth for her.

Preity was in Dubai to support her team Kings XI Punjab. The team had been playing IPL matches in UAE this year. She cruised from Dubai and finally landed in LA to see her 'pati parmeshwar' Gene Goodenough. Since she actually got to see him, Preity felt the trip was worth it.

She shared an image of Gene kissing her on the cheek. In the image, Preity is dolled up in a red saree with a nose ring as she happily takes a selfie. Gene, in an Indian kurta, is completely focused on giving his wife a kiss on the cheek.

"Happy Karvachauth to all of you who celebrated. For me it was the longest ever - started in Dubai, cruised among the clouds & landed in La. It was all worth it cuz I finally got to see my Patiparmeshwar. I love you my love. #Happykarvachauth #Patiparmeshwar #Ting," she shared alongside the image.

Preity got married to Gene Goodenough in 2016. She had kept it a surprise and eventually, she made the relationship Instagram official with her casual #Ting post.

Since her wedding, Preity travels between LA and India. She has reduced her work in Bollywood films and has focused on her IPL team above everything else, at the moment. She was last seen in Bhaiaji Superhitt, which released in 2018.
