Months have passed since the coronavirus-induced lockdown forced countries, industries and businesses to close down. However, with situation seemingly under control, things have been opening up with precautions and guidelines in place, globally.

The film industry too, across the world, for the same reasons had to shut shop. Films were released on digital platforms and the trend still continues in India. However, actor Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, who travelled to London a couple of weeks ago to be with her husband Anand Ahuja, watched director Christopher Nolan's much-awaited action thriller 'Tenet' in theatres in London.

The actor, who was thrilled to be watching the film on the 'big screen', took to Instagram to share the experience and laud actor Dimple Kapadia for her acting skills in the film and her larger-than-life on-screen presence .

Posting a still from the film, featuring Kapadia, she penned down a short note about Kapadia`s acting and Nolan`s film. "So I went to watch @tenetfilm in the cinema today. Firstly the incredible experience of watching a film on the big screen is unparalleled," wrote Sonam."Secondly to watch the luminous Dimple Kapadia in the film gave me goosebumps. Nothing compares to cinema, the big screen, and its magic. Nothing," she added.

The sci-fi thriller released internationally on August 26 and is set to make its way to the biggest film market of the world -- North America -- on September 2.

Meanwhile, 'Tenet', has gone on to collect USD 53 million in five days since its release. The Christopher Nolan directorial opened to 41 markets, including most of Europe, South Korea and Canada. 'Tenet' has earned USD 5.08 million till date in Korea alone, confirms data from the Korean Film Council’s Kobis data system. The film reportedly worked better than any other Nolan film in nine countries, including Ukraine and Netherlands. While it became the largest opening yet in Saudi Arabia, 'Tenet' also accounted for 74 percent of ticket sales in UK (where Tom Cruise also saw the film).

'Warner Bros, who have produced the film, said in an official statement, "Given the unprecedented circumstances of this global release we know we're running a marathon, not a sprint, and look forward to long playability for this film globally for many weeks to come."

Tenet' features John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki and Robert Pattinson in the lead roles. Veteran Bollywood actress Dimple Kapaia is also part of the movie. It is also going to release in India, but the makers are yet to confirm any release dates.
