A 2000 crore club isn't enough, as Aamir Khan's Dangal seems to heading towards a bigger record than that!

According to Forbes report, this Aamir Khan film released in China 8 weeks back in more than 5000 screens on day one and earned $2.2 million on first day itself. Now with over $190 million in box office revenue, Dangal has become the fourth highest total for a movie in China after Fate of the Furious, Kug Fu Yoga and Journey to the West: Demon Chapter...a record which no other Indian film has achieved so far. And now 8 weeks later, Dangal box office domination at Chinese box office refuses to slow down. Hollywood's latest release, Transformer: The Last Knight grabbed maximum theatres in China and Dangal was left with just 2900 showtimes a day. But Transformers failed to create a mark, and as a result theatre owners have started giving back more screens to the longest running sports drama. By Wedensday, Dangal showtimes had more than doubled screens making $300,000 revenue in that day.
