Mohammed Yusuf Khan, professionally known as our very own Dilip Kumar has been unwell for the past few years due to his old age. The veteran actor and philanthropist, best known for his work in the Indian cinema has been admitted to non-COVID PD Hinduja Hospital Khar after having trouble breathing.

On Sunday (June 6) morning, a tweet was posted from the actor’s account informing about his ill health. “Dilip Sahab has been admitted to non-Covid PD Hinduja Hospital Khar for routine tests and investigations. He’s had episodes of breathlessness. A team of healthcare workers led by Dr. Nitin Gokhale is attending to him. Please keep Sahab in your prayers and please stay safe,” the tweet read.

Post his diagnosis the doctors informed his family that he has bilateral pleural effusion (water in the lungs) and is now on oxygen support because of drop in oxygen saturation.
