The 6 Million views on the 3-minute-long trailer of Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming movie, 'Sanju' is a testament of how impactful it is. But despite watching it so keenly, I didn't catch Arshad Warsi's blink-and-miss cameo in the trailer, until my 4th viewing.

It's at 2:23 minutes that we actually see a morphed Ranbir Kapoor in a still from the song 'M Bole Toh' from the movie Munna Bhai MBBS. While Ranbir Kapoor's performance and Sanjay Dutt's unfathomable life incidents have impressed one and all, it's Rajkumar Hirani's attention to details that makes the trailer what it is.

Being one of Rajkumar Hirani's closest friends in the film industry, Arshad Warsi was obviously privy to the film-making process of Sanjay Dutt's biopic.

“Ranbir is brilliant. I have seen him in workshops. I know the script. Raju is a friend so, he tells me about it. I know at what lengths these people, Raju have gone to make sure everything is right and the scenes… So, for me to reveal anything about it is out of the question but what I can tell you is that even if it’s not a biopic, it is still a beautiful film. Even if it wasn’t Sanjay Dutt biopic and you would go to see this film, you will love it. It is so beautiful, the scenes are so touchy… It is Raju! He works so hard on his films,” Arshad had earlier said in an interview.

Watch the Sanju trailer once again, right here -

Sanju, Rajkumar Hirani believes, is a story chronicling the life of Sanjay Dutt, with emphasis on the father-son relationship and his friendships. The movie is slated to hit the screens on June 29. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles.
