Ever since Deepika Padukone and Kartik Aaryan surprised viewers with their 'Dheeme Dheeme' challenge, the two's pairing in a film has been hot news. It now appears that Imtiaz Ali might be ready to collaborate with the two in a project, or so he might have hinted.
While talking to Mumbai Mirror, Imtiaz Ali happened to mention that he has heard rumours about him directing Kartik and Deepika. Reacting on the same, he stated that 'something will happen'. “There’s nothing I’ve spoken to her about, but hopefully something will happen,” he told the daily.
Apart from the 'Dheeme Dheeme' video, Kartik and Deepika have another connection too. Kartik Aaryan has been paired opposite Sara Ali Khan for Imtiaz Ali's movie 'Love Aaj Kal'. Interestingly it is the same movie that featured Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles originally.
Sara and Kartik (SarTik)'s 'Love Aaj Kal' promotions are on in full swing. They had recently visited Ahmedabad for the same. Their movie, which has also got the fresh pairing of Sara and Kartik on the big screen, is slated for release on Valentines' Day i.e. February 14, 2020.
