The arguments in the black buck poaching case against Bollywood star Salman Khan, who has been accused of misleading the court, have been fixed for November 29. This order was given by CJM Rural Court after hearing on two pleas on Thursday.

If convicted Salman could face imprisonment of maximum seven years. The charge against Salman is that he moved an application in the court seeking exemption from personal appearance on the plea that he was not well due to severe pain in his ear. But on the same day, Salman was reportedly busy shooting for the film 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'.

In this regard, forest officer Lalit Boda has filed a case against Salman for misleading the court.

It may be recalled that on April 5 Jodhpur court had found Salman Khan guilty under Section 9/51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act and was sentenced to five years in jail and was fined Rs10,000 in the case of black buck poaching.

Moreover, in April 7, the Bollywood actor was released from the Jodhpur jail after being granted bail on a bond of Rs 50,000 and two sureties of like amount by a District and Sessions court. He spent two nights in the Jodhpur Central Jail.
