Earlier, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have expressed that they do not intend to engageVamika on social media, nor raise her in the public eyes.
Actress Anushka Sharma and a little over four-month-old daughter Vamika were seen accompanying Virat Kohli as the Indian cricket team skipper and the entire squad left for the tour of England from Mumbai late in the night on June 2.
This comes after the UK government gave a green signal for the cricketers to be accompanied by their spouses/families for the four-month-long World Test Championship tour.
While the entire squad, their spouses and kids was seen getting down from a bus at the airport rather than arriving in their individual cars, what caught the attention of fans was Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's little munchkin Vamika who was sleeping soundly as her mother carried her in a light grey coloured baby carrier. Vamika was seen wearing a baby pink onesie.
Anushka and Virat were seen twinning in black outfit and white sneakers.
In the now-viral photos, Anushka is seen holding Vamika really close to herself while wrapping her hands around her to comfort the little one. Anushka put one hand on the head trying to cover Vamika and keep her away from the flashes and successfully managing to not reveal her face, something that both Virat and she have decided upon and intend to follow through.
However, in a few pictures, one can see the face of the baby girl (not very clear though). This is the first photo where fans get even the slightest glimpse of Vamika's face. Earlier, the parents had shared a few photos on their social media handle but never revealed Vamika's face to the world.

This shall be Vamika's first overseas outing with her parents and Virat's first international tour with his daughter.
Days ago, when Virat Kohli conducted an ‘Ask Me’ session on Instagram, he was asked by a fan to share a glimpse of daughter Vamika which he immediately turned down.
While Virat did explain the meaning of the name of his daughter patiently, he refused instantly, to share a glimpse of his daughter. "Vamika is another name for Goddess Durga. No we have decided as a couple to not expose our child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice." Kohli said in his response.
Earlier, in an interview with Vogue India, on the topic of engaging their child on social media, Anushka had said, "We’ve thought about it a lot. We definitely do not want to raise a child in the public eye—we don’t plan on engaging our child in social media. I think it’s a decision your child should be able to take. No kid should be made to be more special than the other. It’s hard enough for adults to deal with it. It’s going to be difficult, but we intend to follow through."
