Amitabh Bachchan fan cheers outside Jalsa for Abhishek Bachchan's discharge after testing negative for COVID-19
A fan of the Bachchan family, especially Amitabh Bachchan, was found cheering outside Jalsa after Abhishek Bachchan was discharged and sent back home post testing COVID-19 negative
A few hours after actor Abhishek Bachchan returned home after being discharged from Nanavati hospital after testing negative for COVID-19, a fan was spotted cheering for the Bachchan family. For the uninitiated, Abhishek Bachchan was the last from the family to be discharged after fight with COVID-19.
The fan was seen holding a hoarding in his stretched arms. The hoarding had images of Amitabh with Aaradhya, and Aaradhya's sketch at the ends. The centre of the hoarding showed half Amitabh-half Abhishek, and half Aishwarya-half Aaradhya. The fan was spotted outside Jalsa just a few hours after Abhishek arrived back home.
Sharing the good news of him being discharged, Abhishek had written on his Twitter page, "A promise is a promise! This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE!!! I told you guys I’d beat this. Thank you all for your prayers for me and my family. My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati hospital for all that they have done. THANK YOU!".
Meanwhile he wrote on his Instagram page, "I TOLD YOU!!! Discharge plan: YES!! This afternoon I tested Covid-19 NEGATIVE. Thank you all for your prayers and wishes. I’m so happy to be able to go home. #believe My eternal gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff at Nanavati Hospital for taking such good care of me and my family and helping us beat Covid-19. We couldn’t have done it without them."
Abhishek was tested positive for COVID-19 along with 'pops' Amitabh Bachchan. They had been admitted to Nanavati hospital on July 11, 2020. Amitabh was discharged on July 2, 2020, just a week before Abhishek could go home.
Aishwarya and Aaradhya had also tested positive and were also admitted to Nanavati hospital after a few days in home quarantine. They had got themselves admitted on July 17 after showing mild symptoms. The mother-daughter duo was discharged on July 27 after testing negative.
Meanwhile, Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, Navya Naveli Nanda and Adgasthya Nanda had tested negative for COVID-19.
