Aditya Roy Kapur clears air on 'stealing' Ranveer Singh's girlfriend back in college

Back in 2017, on No Filter Neha season two talk show, Ranveer Singh had spoken about his college days. He had revealed that one of his classmates who was Aditya Roy Kapur started dating his ex-girlfriend. Now, nearly three years after Singh's confession, Aditya has cleared the air on what actually happened. Contrary to Ranveer's statement of his ex leaving him for Aditya, latter denied it by sharing his side of the story.

During an interaction with Mumbai Mirror, Aditya said, "Maybe, I didn’t know how he felt. Only around eight months after that, did I start seeing her."

For the uninitiated, Ranveer had told Neha Dhupia, "Aditya's always been a hottie. Even when we were 16-17 (years old). I was like this, a preppy tight T-shirt boy from HR college."

He added, "He was like this Afro keeping hippy boy, you know, he was a fast bowler and he was all athletic and all. He was like every girl’s fantasy in junior college and the girl that I was crazy about that time - she is now married  with a kid - but she broke up with me, to move onto a certain Aditya Roy Kapur."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer has several movies in his kitty. The actor will next be seen in Kabir Khan's '83 in which he plays the role of Kapil Dev. He also has Jayeshbhaai Jordaar and Cirkus.

Talking about Aditya, the actor is gearing up for the release of Anurag Basu's anthology Ludo in which he is paired opposite Sanya Malhotra.
