There's no denying the fact that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of the most sought after couples in B-town. Married for the last two years -- #DeepVeer recently celebrated their second marriage anniversary on November 14 -- the couple made the most of their time during the coronavirus-induced lockdown in the company of each other.

Given the busy schedule that the two actors have, Deepika in her recent interview to Hindustan Times said that having the maximum amount of time to spend with Ranveer during the lockdown was a 'blessing in disguise'.

The couple has been busy with their work commitments since they tied the knot in 2018. And so, the lockdown cam eas an opportunity for them to be with each other and spend time together.

Talking about the same and elaborating on how coronavirus and the consequent lockdown came as a tough time for a lot of people, Deepika averred that the one thing that she absolutely feels this year is gratitude.

She said, "It (lockdown) has, of course, been a difficult time for a lot of people. And that’s why, the one thing that I absolutely feel, this year, is gratitude. Just to be able to be at home with each other, and being safe is a blessing. Thank God, we (she and Ranveer) didn't get locked down without each other, which happened to quite a few people. So, what more can we ask for."

In her interview to Hindustan Times, Deepika also spoke about getting back to the sets amid the pandemic. She recently wrapped schedules for Shakun Batra's next yet-untitled directorial.

Speaking about it, the actor said, "Honestly, there was a lot of enthusiasm, and a little bit of nervousness too. And more than the pandemic, it was due to being unsure of how what the processes are going to be.”

Meanwhile, besides Shakun Batra's directorial, Deepika will be next seen in Kabir Khan's '83', co-starring her husband, Ranveer Singh.
