Ahmedabad: Two men rob angadia worker of Rs 5 lakh

A complaint was lodged with Navrangpura police station after an angadia worker was robbed of Rs 5 lakh by two men on Activa on Thursday. 

Tanaji Prajapati, 38, stated that he was assigned to collect a parcel from Shantilal’s office located in Navrangpura. He kept the parcel inside the compartment of his Activa. As he reached near Vasant Vihar Society, two unidentified men on Activa blocked his way and abused him. They forcefully grabbed the keys rammed it into their vehicle. When Prajapati went to collect his keys, the other one took out the parcel and fled from the spot.

PB Desai, inspector stated, “We have identified the vehicle and will soon nab the accused.”
