15-year-old girl from Rajasthan raped by four in Ahmedabad

In another horrific incident of sexual crime against women, a 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by four men in a house near Vastrapur railway crossing. A complaint of rape was lodged with Vejalpur police on Thursday. The minor was a relative to one of the accused and was brought from Rajasthan to Ahmedabad on the pretext of labour work.

The incident took place on October 17 when the survivor, a resident of Rajasthan's Dungarpur, was brought here by her relatives: Chetan Damor, Dhanraj Damor, Leelaram Damor and Hadiya Damor.

The complaint states the girl was taken to a house where she was beaten up by the four accused and raped, following which she managed to flee and reached her parents in Rajasthan.

The survivor narrated her ordeal to her parents after which, on October 25, she and her father reached Ahmedabad and lodged a complaint. VJ Patel, ACP of 'M' division, said, "We have arrested two accused and the hunt for the other two is on."
