1.1 : 1.1: D Kulkarni to A Hales, FOUR! Bread and butter stuff for Hales. Not a good start by Kulkarni. This is short and outside off, Hales waits for it to come and then cuts it through point for a boundary.
1.3 : 1.3: D Kulkarni to A Hales, FOUR! Second in the over! Kulkarni is bowling to Hales' strength here. Once again he is on the shorter side. It sits up to be hit. Hales rocks back and pulls it through mid-wicket.
1.5 : 1.5: D Kulkarni to S Dhawan, FOUR! Good ball but a boundary results. Not a good start for Kulkarni. He bowls it very full on middle, it shapes back in late. Dhawan somehow flicks it through square leg and the ball races away for the third boundary from the over.
2.1 : 2.1: K Gowtham to S Dhawan, OUT! CHOPPED ON! Gowtham draws first blood. Dhawan was unsure whether to play the sweep shot or to cut it and that brings about his downfall. Gowtham from around the wicket fires it around off. Dhawan first thinks about sweeping it but seeing the line, he tries to cut. However, even that shot was not on as the ball was too close to the off pole. In the end he ends up getting an inside edge onto the stumps. So an early wicket for Rajasthan. Just the start they needed.
3.1: D Kulkarni to K Williamson, FOUR! Not learning is Dhawal here. He once again is on the shorter side. This time there is also width on offer. Williamson cashes in on it and cuts it through point for a boundary.
4.2 : 4.2: J Archer to K Williamson, FOUR! Beautiful! Not a bad delivery but such is the class of Williamson that he puts that away. This is fuller and on middle, Kane shows the full face of the bat and drives it through mid on for a boundary.
6.5 : 6.5: Ish Sodhi to K Williamson, FOUR! Poor ball and is dispatched! Short and on middle, Kane is quick to rock back and pull it through mid-wicket for a boundary.
8.6 : 8.6: Ish Sodhi to K Williamson, FOUR! Good end to the over for Hyderabad. This is a flighted ball outside off, it is a little too full. Williamson reaches out for it and goes over extra cover for a boundary. So once again, Sodhi's over ends with a boundary.
9.1 : 9.1: Ben Stokes to A Hales, FOUR! Pummeled! Short of a length delivery on middle, Hales rides the bounce, swivels a bit and nails the pull between square leg and fine leg for a boundary. This also brings up the 50-run stand between the two.
10.6 : 10.6: M Lomror to A Hales, FOUR! What was a good over turns out to be a poor one. Lomror drops it short on middle, Alex quickly rocks back and pulls it towards deep square leg to end the over with a boundary. The partnership is swelling nicely for the visitors.
11.1 : 11.1: J Unadkat to K Williamson, FOUR! Smart! Back of a length delivery, angling away, Williamson shuffles across and paddles it over the keeper for a boundary towards fine leg.

11.3 : 11.3: J Unadkat to K Williamson, FOUR! More runs! Kane Williamson has decided to step on the gas now! Unadkat comes from around the wicket and hurls a length delivery outside off, Williamson whacks it over extra cover and it races away to the fence. 14 already from the over.
11.5 : 11.5: J Unadkat to K Williamson, FOUR! Edged and away! There is no slip and Williamson is on a roll here. On a length, slightly wider on off, Kane goes hard at it and it takes the thick outside edge which flies through the vacant slip cordon and runs down to the third man fence. Moves on to 49 with that.
12.4 : 12.4: J Archer to K Williamson, SIX! Ahhhhhh... pure class! Fuller delivery, arrowed in on off, Williamson with all the timing in the world, lifts it over long off for half a dozen.
13.3 : 13.3: K Gowtham to A Hales, OUT! Gowtham comes and breaks the 92-run stand that was taking the game away! Bowls it slower through the air and serves it a bit wider outside off, Hales comes down the track and has to reach out for that one. Ends up slicing it in the air towards backward point where Sanju Samson accepts an easy catch. A very uncharacteristic knock by him comes to an end. However, he played a handy role in the partnership.
14.5 : 14.5: Ish Sodhi to K Williamson, OUT! The decision stands! The Snicko shows a bit of spike and Kane Williamson will have to walk back. Ish Sodhi removes his national team's skipper as he bags his maiden Indian T20 League wicket. Slips in the googly, it turns back in from a length and also stays a touch low. 16.4 : 16.4: Ben Stokes to M Pandey, FOUR! Up and over mid off! Waits for the fuller delivery does Manish, clears his front leg and lifts it over mid off for a boundary. There was an element of risk involved but he played it to perfection.
17.1 : 17.1: J Archer to Al Hasan, OUT! Jafffaaaaaa Archer! This is lethal death bowling from him. Comes running in from around the wicket and spears in a perfect yorker at the base of the stumps. Shakib crouches low to jam it out but gets a bottom edge which rolls back onto the stumps. LED bails flash and this is some superb fightback from the hosts.
17.6 : 17.6: J Archer to Y Pathan, OUT! Yes, he does! Picks up second from the over! Short of a length delivery outside off, Pathan waits back and tries to guide it down. It flies straight down the throat of Dhawal Kulkarni who makes no mistake. 4 runs and two wickets from the over, supreme act from Archer!
18.5 : 18.5: J Unadkat to M Pandey, OUT! Hyderabad are falling apart! Unadkat rolls his fingers on the ball, bowls it outside off, Manish Pandey is completely foxed by it as he slices it over backward point. Rahane, at that position backtracks a bit and takes an easy catch.
19.1 : 19.1: J Archer to W Saha, FOUR! Good shot! Fuller delivery outside off, Saha plays a lofted drive over mid off and starts the final over with a boundary.
19.5 : 19.5: J Archer to R Khan, OUT! 3-fer for Archer! Slower back of a length delivery on middle, Rashid Khan gets across to play the pull shot but gets a top edge instead. The ball goes high in the air towards deep mid-wicket where Ben Stokes takes an easy catch.
0.3 : 0.3: S Sharma to A Rahane, FOUR! This time he gets it to swing but the line is wrong. It is on the pads and Rahane clips it through mid-wicket and gets off the mark with a boundary.
1.6 : 1.6: Al Hasan to A Rahane, FOUR! Excellent placement! Once again Shakib is on the shorter side. Rahane rocks back and whips it through wide long on for a boundary. Second from the over and an expensive first by the left arm spinner.
2.2 : 2.2: S Sharma to R Tripathi, OUT! Knocks him over! Rahul Tripathi bags another failure and an early wicket for Hyderabad. This is a good line, it is bowled on middle and on a length. Tripathi comes down the track but is done in by the length. He tries to keep it out but the ball sneaks through and hits the top of middle.
3.1 : 3.1: B Thampi to S Samson, FOUR! Talk about class! What a shot! This one is on a length around off, nothing bad with the delivery. Samson however, rocks back and times it through covers for a boundary.
3.2 : 3.2: B Thampi to S Samson, SIX! Take that, says Samson! It is short and on middle, Samson stands tall and pulls it over the square leg fence for a biggie. So 10 from the first two balls of Thampi. Pressure on him.
3.4 : 3.4: B Thampi to S Samson, FOUR! Basil has been thumped! 14 from his first 4. Short and on middle, it is asking to be hit. Samson pulls it through backward square leg to fetch himself another boundary.
5.3 : 5.3: S Kaul to S Samson, FOUR! Times it to perfection! This is short and on middle, Samson flicks it over mid-wicket. The man from long on runs to his right, dives but can't stop it.
7.5 : 7.5: R Khan to A Rahane, FOUR! Swept and swept fine! Once again this is a little too full on middle, Rahane goes down on one knee and sweeps it through square leg for a boundary.
8.3 : 8.3: Al Hasan to A Rahane, FOUR! Poor ball and Shakib pays the price. This is short and on middle, Rahane has all the time in the world to whip it through wide long on. It is in the gap and it crosses the fence.

This is on a length around middle, Samson flicks it but fails to keep it down. It goes straight into the hands of Hales at short mid-wicket who does not drop it. 80 needed from 62.
10.2 : 10.2: Y Pathan to Ben Stokes, OUT! Yusuf removes the Big Ben! The leg stumps is uprooted and Pathan lets out a huge roar. Impressive bowling change from Williamson, this. Rajasthan now are in a bit of bother. From around the wicket, fired a bit short and it keeps coming in with the arm. Stokes bends his back knee to go big over the leg side but misses it completely to get his leg stump shattered.
12.3 : 12.3: Y Pathan to A Rahane, FOUR! Much-needed boundary! Full and down the leg side, Rahane sits down and sweeps it fine down the leg side.
13.6 : 13.6: R Khan to Jos Buttler, OUT! Sliced in the air and it's taken! Rajasthan lose another. Tossed up delivery outside off, Buttler clears his front leg to go big over long off but ends up slicing it in the air. Shikhar Dhawan comes a couple of yards in to take it safely. Rashid Khan has his arms aloft as he picks up his first. This game is hanging in the balance now as 56 runs are still required from 36 balls.
17.1 : 17.1: R Khan to A Rahane, SIX! Booom! What a hit under pressure! Mind you, he has taken the best bowler on. The crowd finds its voice back. Flaoted delivery on middle, Rahane sits down on one knee and nails the slog sweep over deep mid-wicket for a much-needed maximum.
18.3 : 18.3: S Kaul to M Lomror, OUT! Edged and this time Lomror is gone! Good take from Saha and Hyderabad are cruising. Lovely bowling from Kaul. He once again gives no pace, angles it wider than the reach of the batter. Mahipal Lomror swings hard at it but gets a thick edge which is taken with a dive to his left by Wriddhiman.
19.1 : 19.1: B Thampi to K Gowtham, FOUR! Good start to the final over for Rajasthan! Fuller delivery, angling in on middle, Gowtham clears his front leg and whacks it off the inner half towards deep square leg for a boundary.
19.5 : 19.5: B Thampi to K Gowtham, OUT! Straight down the throat of Dhawan! Thampi keeps it nice and full on the stumps, Gowtham tries to go big down the ground but doesn't get enough meat behind the shot. Spoons a simple catch to Dhawan who takes it and the celebrations in the Hyderabad camp begins...
