39.5 : H Walsh to S Singh, OUT! LBW! Umpire's call it is and Ireland have lost another one. Brilliant from Walsh. It goes towards long off. Keemo Paul, the substitute, runs across from long off and manages to take the catch. This is a good catch as the long on fielder was also coming across but Paul is conscious of it and makes no mistake. IRELAND HAVE BEEN BOWLED OUT FOR 203.
A brilliant bowling performance from West Indies means Ireland can only manage a total of 203 runs. Their batting never got going as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals or rather, kept throwing their wickets away. Apart from Andy Balbirnie, the skipper, none of the Irish batters could contribute much with the bat. McCollum, O'Brien and Tucker, were able to get starts but failed to make it count. A 25-run knock off 22 balls from McBrine in the final overs helped them get over the 200-ru
West Indies were really good with the ball throughout the innings. Oshane Thomas removed the openers early while Roston Chase and Hayden Walsh tightened the screws with their spin bowling. Walsh eventually finished with a 4-fer and stifled Ireland in the middle overs. Romario Shepherd and Alzarri Joseph too were excellent in their spells. Thomas removed the last man to finish with a 3-wicket haul.
Hayden Walsh is down for an interview with Daren Ganga. Starts by saying it was all about pitching the ball in the right areas. Adds that as the game went on, the ball began to turn more so he tried his variations like the googly. Further says that the ball got a bit older and that is why he got more assistance off the pitch. Ends by saying that they wanted to restrict the Irish to a total of 180 or less but he is confident that his team's batters can knock this target out of the park too.
The target does not look to be a massive one but West Indies did struggle during the chase in the 2nd ODI. How will things pan out in this one? Will West Indies chase this total down easily or will Ireland finish the series with a win? Do join us in a short while to find out.
0.0 : Back for the run chase, folks! There is no rain threat currently as the sun is out but there are a few clouds around too. Out come the Irish players on the field. They were dismal with the bat and now will have to bowl out of their skins to make a match out of this one. West Indies are opening with Shai Hope and Evin Lewis and would hope that their openers provide a good start, unlike the last two ODIs. Spin to begin for Ireland. It's Andy McBrine to roll his arm. A slip in place...

3.4 : B McCarthy to S Hope, Fine shot and a superb piece of fielding by Simi Singh. Shortish delivery on off, Hope hangs back and punches it sweetly towards extra cover. 3.5 : B McCarthy to E Lewis, Good length ball on middle and off, Lewis keeps his weight on the back leg and offers a straight bat in defense.
3.6 : B McCarthy to E Lewis, Miscues it in the air! Lewis tries to take on the bowler and hence swings his bat across the line at a length ball around off. 4.5 : A McBrine to E Lewis, FOUR! Shot! Loopy full ball landing around off, Evin Lewis goes down on one knee and sweeps it sweetly behind square leg for a boundary. This is the shot that he has developed well. Used to be lethal outside off but now has added this shot in his repertoire as well.
4.6 : A McBrine to E Lewis, Tossed up ball on middle and leg, swept again but this time it went straight to short fine leg. 10 from the over, the best one of the chase so far.
The wind has picked up. Let's hope all the clouds will get blown away.
5.1 : B McCarthy to S Hope, Fullish and on middle, Hope drives but finds the mid on fielder.
0.0 : LBW Shout! Up goes the finger. Shai Hope is not looking too confident here. He walks up to his partner and has a chat. Takes the DRS after that. The Ultra Edge finds no wood and the Ball Tracker returns three reds.
5.2 : B McCarthy to S Hope, OUT! McCarthy strikes and draws first blood! Hope is very much trapped in front. Brilliant delivery by McCarthy. He spears in a fuller length ball around off at 130 kph and gets it to nip back into the batsman off the seam. Hope attempts to play it across the line but fails to make any connection. The ball strikes him on the pads, they appeal and the umpire lifts his finger after thinking for a while. Shai has a chat with his partner before taking the DRS but the techn

6.5 : C Young to S Ambris, Full in length and around off, angling in, Ambris presses forward to cover the line and pushes it to covers.
6.6 : C Young to S Ambris, FOUR! This is very substandard bowling by Craig Young. He continues to favour the shorter length but his pace is not good enough to hurry the batsman. Ambris joins the party now as he pulls it in front of square leg for a boundary. 12 from the over and West Indies are going on steadily.

Not a good outing for Ambris this time around against Ireland. 150 needed off 246 balls. The visitors need to keep chipping away at the wickets to stay in with any chance.

Feels that they were accurate with respect to lines and lengths. Praises the batting from centurion Lewis, King and Pooran for their contribution. On the team changes, Pollard says that they have had discussions on the changes in the dressing room. Talking about Hetmyer missing out from this game, Pollard tells that it is good for West Ind

The game will begin at 1300 local (1700 GMT). We will love your company for that game. Till then, take care!
