Commentary :
0.0 : Less than 24 hours is what the Aussies have had to get over their loss in the first game. Not sure if that much time is enough when you lose from the position they did. However, they’ll have to put that behind and give their best here as a loss again would make it very difficult for them to get back into the series.
For their hosts, the last win will just evoke that belief that they could win from any position. They will be rearing to go for this game and very hungry to make 2-0. Can they do so? We will find out. Stay tuned for the toss in a bit...
TOSS - Australia have won the toss and ELECTED TO BOWL FIRST! Pretty interesting then. In spite of the loss while chasing yesterday, in spite of the slow decks, Finch is not changing his formula and he believes in his and the side's principle.
Australia (UNCHANGED Playing XI) - Matthew Wade (WK), Aaron Finch (C), Mitchell Marsh, Josh Philippe, Moises Henriques, Ben McDermott, Dan Christian, Ashton Agar, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa and Josh Hazlewood.

0.2 : Mitchell Starc to Lendl Simmons, West Indies and Lendl Simmons are underway! A length ball, outside off. Simmons looks to drive but it goes off the outside edge down to third man for one.

0.0 : West Indies (Playing XI) - Lendl Simmons, Andre Fletcher (IN FOR EVIN LEWIS), Chris Gayle, Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran (C AND WK), Andre Russell, Fabian Allen, Dwayne Bravo, Hayden Walsh, Sheldon Cottrell (IN FOR OBED McCOY) and Fidel Edwards.
0.3 : A huge shout for an LBW and the finger is raised! Fletcher is given! He reviews. Maybe the height can save him.
0.4 : Mitchell Starc to Andre Fletcher, NOT OUT! Andre Fletcher survives as it is going over! A good length ball, angling on middle and leg. Fletcher looks to leave it but gets surprised by the inswinger. Australia appeals for lbw and the umpire raises his finger. Andre Fletcher reviews it. Ultra edge shows no bat involved. Ball Tracker shows the ball missing the stumps.
0.5 : Mitchell Starc to Andre Fletcher, A length ball, outside off. Andre Fletcher swings and misses.
1.1 : Josh Hazlewood to Lendl Simmons, Starts off with a length ball on off, Simmons guides it to point.
0.6 : Who will bowl from the other end now? Josh Hazlewood it is. He was brilliant in the first game. Australia would love something similar.
0.0 : We are all set for the action to begin! Simmons and Fletcher are the openers! The former will take strike and he will be facing Starc.
1.2 : Josh Hazlewood to Lendl Simmons, BEAUTY! This lands on off and then shapes away. The length is quite similar to the last ball. Simmons looks to push at it but is beaten.

Andre Fletcher makes room and looks to cut it but fails to get any bat on it. The ball sneaks through and hits the middle stump. The incoming angle with the dart made it a bit difficult for Fletcher to execute the shot. Perhaps a pull would have been a better option? Also, this was pushed a lot quicker, Fletcher was also beaten for pace.
Chris Gayle walks out to bat now!
0.0 : PITCH REPORT - Samuel Badree is doing the pitch report along with Sir Curtly Ambrose. The latter says it is the same pitch which was used for the first game, it is a good one to bat on and not a lot of balls misbehave and it should be a cracking contest.
2.5 : Ashton Agar to Chris Gayle, Flatter and on off, it is pushed to covers.
2.6 : Ashton Agar to Chris Gayle, Another one on middle, Gayle pushes it to the left of the bowler. Really good from Agar. So after an expensive first over, Australia have come back strongly.

3.2 : Josh Hazlewood to Lendl Simmons, FOUR! Lucky escape. A short ball, on middle, Lendl Simmons comes down the track and looks to pull. But he is cramped for room and the ball keeps on rising with the bounce. The top edge is induced and the ball flies over the keeper behind.

0.6 : Mitchell Starc to Andre Fletcher, SIX! Fine shot. Back of a length, around middle and leg, Andre Fletcher whips it over deep mid-wicket! It was turning out to be a good over from Starc, till that last ball. 10 from it in the end.

5.3 : Who will come out now? It is Shimron Hetmyer.
Josh Hazlewood to Lendl Simmons, OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Simmons is now a goner! Hazlewood gets his revenge and it is an important wicket as he was looking really good. Played the wrong shot there. 6.5 : Adam Zampa to Chris Gayle, Once again, gives it some air and lands it on middle, Gayle pushes it to the bowler again.

End of a power-packed batting performance from the Windies and they will be pretty pleased as to where they stand in the game at the moment! They did not get to the best of starts though as they lost two in the Powerplay. Gayle also followed soon but Hetmyer and Bravo played brilliantly. The two added over 100 with the former scoring a fifty-plus score. They started slowly but then took the bowlers to the cleaners towards the end. Hetmyer did fall but Russell added the finishing touches with a b
The Australian bowling was excellent for the first 10 overs. Hazlewood, Marsh, Agar and Zampa bowled really well. However, it was after that when things started to slip away. There were quite a few poor deliveries, the fielding was not at its best and they ended up conceding a lot more than they would have liked. Almost every bowler except for Agar went for runs and most of their figures were ruined in the second half of the innings.
The target is a big one but the wicket seems to be a good one to bat on! The Windies bowling also has McCoy missing so Australia can fancy their chances but they will have to bat brilliantly. If they do so, this is going to be a brilliant second half. Stay tuned for it.
