Match over
2.4 : 2.4: Ashton Agar to Andre Fletcher, OUT! TIMBER! Andre Fletcher departs cheaply. A short ball, angling on middle and leg. Andre Fletcher makes room and looks to cut it but fails to get any bat on it. The ball sneaks through and hits the middle stump. The incoming angle with the dart made it a bit difficult for Fletcher to execute the shot. Perhaps a pull would have been a better option? Also, this was pushed a lot quicker, Fletcher was also beaten for pace.
3.2 : 3.2: Josh Hazlewood to Lendl Simmons, FOUR! Lucky escape. A short ball, on middle, Lendl Simmons comes down the track and looks to pull. But he is cramped for room and the ball keeps on rising with the bounce. The top edge is induced and the ball flies over the keeper behind.
3.3 : 3.3: Josh Hazlewood to Lendl Simmons, SIX! Helped away! Another short ball, angling in on the leg pole. Lendl Simmons rocks back and pulls it over the fine leg fence for a biggie. 10 from the last two balls.
0.6 : 0.6: Mitchell Starc to Andre Fletcher, SIX! Fine shot. Back of a length, around middle and leg, Andre Fletcher whips it over deep mid-wicket! It was turning out to be a good over from Starc, till that last ball. 10 from it in the end.
4.3 : 4.3: Mitchell Starc to Lendl Simmons, SIX! Banged! A good length ball, on middle. Lendl Simmons heaves it over mid-wicket for a biggie. He moves to 23 now.
5.2 : 5.2: Josh Hazlewood to Lendl Simmons, SIX! THUMPED OVER! What a shot that is! Simmons comes down the track and Hazlewood bangs it short, he smashes it over the long off fence for a biggie.
5.3 : 5.3: Josh Hazlewood to Lendl Simmons, OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Simmons is now a goner! Hazlewood gets his revenge and it is an important wicket as he was looking really good. Played the wrong shot there. It is shorter and on off, Simmons makes room and tries to cut but he does not make enough room. It goes off the outside edge and Wade does the rest. Really good bowling, stuck to his line and length despite being hit for a biggie.
6.3: Adam Zampa to Chris Gayle, CHEEKY FOUR! Clever batting! This is quicker and down the leg side, Gayle just uses the pace of the bowler and guides it past the keeper and down to the fine leg fence for another boundary. Fifty up for the Windies.
7.2 : 7.2: Mitchell Marsh to Chris Gayle, FOUR! Almost drags it on! This is full and it is on off, seems a slower one. Gayle is a touch early in the drive, it goes off the inside edge and just past the off pole and down to the fine leg fence.
7.4 : 7.4: Mitchell Marsh to Chris Gayle, OUT! DRAGS IT ON! Once again a batter picks the wrong ball to cut and this time it is the big man, Gayle who departs. Once again Australia manage to take a wicket at the right time. Marsh continues to impress with the ball. Takes pace off this delivery, lands it just outside off. Gayle looks to cut but he gets an inside edge which hits the stumps. Gayle got away with one earlier in the over but this time it goes back onto his stumps. There was not enough room

17.5 : 17.5: Josh Hazlewood to Shimron Hetmyer, OUT! RUN OUT! Not sure if this was really needed! This is full and outside off, Hetmyer fails to connect! Bravo calls for a run. Hetmyer is actually taken by surprise by that call and takes off late. The keeper throw it to the bowler who underarms it onto the stumps at his end. End of a brilliant knock from Hetmyer. He walks off to a standing ovation from his teammates.

3.1 : 3.1: Fidel Edwards to Aaron Finch, OUT! TIMBER! Finch is completely done in by the dip on that slower one and that dropped chance has not cost a lot. Australia in deep, deep trouble now. 15.4 : 15.4: Hayden Walsh to Dan Christian, OUT! IT IS AGAR WHO HAS TO WALK BACK! Both were in the crease when the bails were broken but it was Christian who came in first. However, a wicket has been lost and it is all falling apart a little too quickly for the Aussies now. This is shorter and on middle, it is pulled towards mid-wicket.
