Nothing before and nothing after came after them. It was a rather toothless batting display once more. |

The start was good, the middle overs saw the runs being choked and except for that phase where Taylor and Latham were striding along, everything was in complete control. Shami led the charge with a 3-fer, while Bhuvneshwar, Chahal and Pandya bagged 2 apiece. The all-rounder did well in his comeback game, having played his last one in September 2018 against Pakistan in the Asia Cup. |
| This should be a relatively straightforward chase for the Indians. Their form in this series so far has no reason to suggest otherwise. However, there is the thing with the wicket slowing down in the second half.
