0.5 : 0.5: Trent Boult to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! UP AND OVER! Boult again hits the good length area but this time it is outside off. Padikkal makes full use of the room he has and punches it over the man at short cover to get off the mark with a solid boundary.
1.4 : 1.4: Jasprit Bumrah to Josh Philippe, FOUR! Superb shot from Philippe! His first boundary of the innings! Length ball on off, Philippe shuffles across his stump  and drives it between mid on and mid-wicket with a bat straight as an arrow and the ball races away to the fence.
2.3 : 2.3: Krunal Pandya to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! Delicate and delightful! A quicker delivery around off. Padikkal uses the pace of the ball and scoops it fine towards fine leg for a bundary.
2.4 : 2.4: Krunal Pandya to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! Punched and punched hard! Short around off, Padikkal is quick to get on his back foot and punch it through covers for his third boundary of the innings.
3.1 : 3.1: James Pattinson to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! Welcome to the attack Pattinson! The Australian starts with a fuller ball on off and middle. Padikkal uses his wrists delightfully and lofts his flick with minimum of fuss over mid-wicket for a boundary.
3.4 : 3.4: James Pattinson to Josh Philippe, FOUR! Excellent shot! Short ball on off. Philippe is an Aussie so he loves bounce and plays the pull shot well. Philippe pulls it over mid-wicket for a boundary.
4.2 : 4.2: Trent Boult to Josh Philippe, SIX! First biggie of the day and it comes from the bat of Josh Philippe! Boult bowls it too straight and too full on off. Philippe hits it beautifully straight down the ground for a biggie.
4.6 : 4.6: Trent Boult to Josh Philippe, FOUR! Lucky for Philippe but as they say fortune favours the brave! Good length ball around off, Philippe looks to punch but gets a thick inside edge. It goes past the stump and fine towards fine leg to the fence.
5.1 : 5.1: James Pattinson to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! Bangalore are on fire at the moment. Poor ball from Pattinson. He bowls it on the pads, Padikkal flicks it towards fine leg for a boundary.
5.6 : 5.6: James Pattinson to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! BEAUTIFUL! Fuller on middle, Padikkal moves away and comes down the track a bit and wonderfully lofts it over extra cover for a boundary. Excellent Powerplay for Bangalore. They are 54/0 at the end of the first phase!
7.2 : 7.2: Rahul Chahar to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! Padikkal is playing brilliantly. He brings out the reverse sweep now. It is fuller and on middle. Padikkal gets his bat down quickly and hits it through point for a boundary.
7.4 : 7.4: Rahul Chahar to Josh Philippe, FOUR! Philippe joins the act now! Uses his feet brilliantly and also makes room. He gets to the pitch of the ball and lofts it over cover for another boundary. Second in the over.
7.5 : 7.5: Rahul Chahar to Josh Philippe, OUT! Josh's foot is in the air and he is a goner! That was really quick from de Kock because he just had a second. Excellent! A good little innings from Philippe comes to an end but he could not continue. Chahar strikes back and it is a much needed wicket for him. Philippe makes room but Chahar shortens his length just a little. It lands on middle, there is extra bounce and it also turns a little. JOsh looks to go over covers but misses. De Kock takes the bail
9.2 : 9.2: Rahul Chahar to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! Hit hard and a boundary! This should release the pressure that was building. Shorter and outside off, Padikkal stays back and slaps it through covers. No chance for the fielder in the deep.
9.5 : 9.5: Rahul Chahar to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! And again! Way too short and way too wide. Easy for Padikkal. He goes back and slaps it through covers. No chance for the fielder in the deep again.
10.6 : 10.6: Krunal Pandya to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! Brilliant from Padikkal! Fifty up for him and it is a superb knock. Very fluent and he has played with a lot of authority. He gets there by pushing this through covers. It is in the gap and a boundary results. The last ball spoils the over somewhat. End of Krunal for today and he goes wicket-less again.
11.2 : 11.2: Jasprit Bumrah to Virat Kohli, OUT! TAKEN! That is the exact reason why Bumrah was got back on. Brilliant from Pollard and brilliant from Bumrah. His 100th Indian T20 League wicket and it is a special one. This though is not for the first time he has bounced Kohli out. It is short and on middle, gets big on Kohli. He tries to pull but gets a top edge. It goes high towards mid on. Tiwary from mid-wicket runs towards the ball and takes a good tumbling catch. Kohli's struggle comes to an end.
13.4 : 13.4: James Pattinson to AB de Villiers, SIX! Mr.360 going 360 now! Fuller on off, de Villiers premeditates his scoop and executes it well to send it over de Kock's head and over the ropes.
13.5 : 13.5: James Pattinson to AB de Villiers, FOUR! Pulled with placement. Slowish back of a length ball around the body. De Villiers pulls it behind square leg for another boundary.
14.2 : 14.2: Rahul Chahar to Devdutt Padikkal, SIX! First biggie for Devdutt Padikkal. Chahar shows courage and gives this a lot of air and flight on off. Padikkal says thank you very much and smokes it straight over Rahul's head for a biggie.
14.3 : 14.3: Rahul Chahar to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! This time pierces the gap! Short and outside off, Padikkal gets on his back foot and punches it between cover and point for a boundary.
14.4 : 14.4: Rahul Chahar to Devdutt Padikkal, FOUR! MISFIELD AND FOUR! Short around off, Padikkal punches it uppishly towards cover. It falls to the man at cover. Krunal dives forward for the catch but the ball bounces in front of him and goes past him to race away to the fence.
15.2 : 15.2: Kieron Pollard to AB de Villiers, OUT! CAUGHT! The skipper gets the big fish himself. Big moment in this game as everyone knows how dangerous AB de Villiers is in the back end of the innings. A dipping full toss around off, De Villiers bends his back and looks to heave it over mid-wicket. Unfortunately for Bangalore, AB cannot get under it. He hits it in the air and straight to the man at deep mid-wicket. Rahul Chahar there makes no mistake and takes a simple catch. The two umpires get tog
16.3 : 16.3: Jasprit Bumrah to Shivam Dube, OUT! CAUGHT! Another one bites the dust for Bangalore and Mumbai are pulling things back very nicely here. Bouncer from Bumrah! It is on middle, Dube looks to pull. He does so and gets a lot of height. The distance is missing though and it goes straight into the hands of Suryakumar Yadav in the deep. He takes a good catch. Second wicket for Bumrah.
16.5 : 16.5: Jasprit Bumrah to Devdutt Padikkal, OUT! CAUGHT! Bumrah is once again becoming a thorn in Bangalore's throat. The well-set Padikkal walks departs as well.
17.1 : 17.1: Trent Boult to Chris Morris, Four! Smashed away and a welcome boundary for Bangalore. It is a length ball and outside off, Morris smashes it through covers for a boundary.
17.2 : 17.2: Trent Boult to Chris Morris, OUT! TAKEN! Another one bites the dust and Bangalore have completely lost their way! Now even 160 looks farfetched. Boult gets his revenge. It is short and outside off. Morris uper cuts but it goes straight into the hands of the third man fielder. Pattinson makes no mistake.
17.6 : 17.6: Trent Boult to Washington Sundar, FOUR! Nice and fine! Bangalore need a few more of these. A wicket from the over but an expensive one. The extra ball costs Boult. It is on the pads, Sundar works it fine and it races away to the fine leg fence.
19.4 : 19.4: Trent Boult to Gurkeerat Singh Mann, FOUR! In the gap and a boundary! Full and on the pads, Mann whips it nicely towards the mid-wicket fence. A welcome boundary. Can he get one more?
19.5 : 19.5: Trent Boult to Gurkeerat Singh Mann, FOUR! He surely can! Over mid off this time. Fuller and on off, it is the slower one. Mann this time waits for it and then lofts it over mid off for a boundary. Can he make it three in a row?
0.5 : 0.5: Chris Morris to Ishan Kishan, FOUR! SMASHED! What a way to get off the mark! Morris is guilty of offering width outside off, Ishan Kishan's eyes light up looking at that and he punches it through covers for a boundary.
1.4 : 1.4: Dale Steyn to Ishan Kishan, SIX! First one of the chase and what a lovely strike it is! Very Adam Gilchrist type from Ishan Kishan. Full on middle, Kishan lofts his flick over square leg for an 80m biggie.
2.6 : 2.6: Washington Sundar to Ishan Kishan, FOUR! Poor ball from Sundar and gets the treatement. He cannot finish it well but still just 6 off his first. Short and wide outside off, Ishan Kishan punches it through covers for a boundary.
3.6: Dale Steyn to Quinton de Kock, SIX! BOOM! De Kock will smoke the pull more often than not. Good length ball on off, it is not too short but de Kock does not even want them to be too short to play his favourite shot. He did this against Archer in the last game and tonight he has done against his fellow countryman and smokes his pull over square leg for a biggie.
5.3 : 5.3: Mohammed Siraj to Quinton de Kock, OUT! De Kock holes out! Siraj gets the breakthrough Bangalore needed. It is slightly short and on middle, angling away. De Kock looks to pull it, he tries to play the shot he has done so successfully but this comes off the bottom. It goes straight to the man at deep mid-wicket who makes no mistake. Mann is the catcher.
5.6 : 5.6: Mohammed Siraj to Ishan Kishan, FOUR! The last two balls means it is an expensive over. Still a wicket in it. The last ball is full and on the pads, Kishan works it through mid-wicket. It races away. A decent Powerplay for Mumbai, they are 45 for 1 after it. Another 120 needed.
7.5 : 7.5: Yuzvendra Chahal to Ishan Kishan, OUT! Chahal comes on and strikes! Kishan, the well-set batter is out of here and Mumbai are in a spot of bother! Kishan steps out and Chahal bowls it nice and wide outside off. Kishan has to reach out for it. He looks to do so and tries to go over long off but it goes off the toe-end. Morris runs to his right from long on and takes it.
9.3 : 9.3: Yuzvendra Chahal to Suryakumar Yadav, SIX! A welcome, welcome biggie! This was needed to break the shackles. It is tossed up on middle, Yadav targets the short side of the ground with a sweep. It is not right off the middle but still goes over the mid-wicket fence.
9.4 : 9.4: Yuzvendra Chahal to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR! That has gone to the fence like a tracer bullet! Another sweep and brilliantly done. It is fuller and on middle. Yadav sweeps and hits it through square leg. 10 runs from the last two balls.
10.4: Mohammed Siraj to Saurabh Tiwary, OUT! CAUGHT! Super catch from Padikkal and Siraj has his second. What a game Padikkal is having. First with the bat and now a diving stunner in the field. Bangalore have their tail up and why wouldn't they. They have continued to get wickets at regular intervals. Fuller on off, Tiwary looks to drive it through mid off but he ends up hitting it uppishly towards mid off. It looked like the ball will fall short of Padikkal there but he dives in front and t
11.2 : 11.2: Yuzvendra Chahal to Krunal Pandya, FOUR! Good shot! Tossed up on off, Krunal opesn the off side and lofts it over extra cover for a boundary.
11.6 : 11.6: Yuzvendra Chahal to Suryakumar Yadav, SIX! Classic Suryakumar Yadav shot! Not an easy shot to play but Yadav made it look like a cake walk. Loopy delivery outside off, Suryakumar goes inside outs over extra cover for a biggie.
12.2 : 12.2: Dale Steyn to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR! Lovely from Suryakumar! Good length ball outside off, Yadav opens the face of the bat and goes fine down to third man for a boundary.
12.3 : 12.3: Dale Steyn to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR! Top shot from Suryakumar Yadav! Good length ball outside off. Suryakumar Yadav keeps his balance, uses the pace of the ball and punches it through point for a boundary.
12.5 : 12.5: Dale Steyn to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR! CRUNCHED! Supreme from Suryakumar Yadav! Length delivery around off, Yadav goes on his back foot and punches it effortlessly through covers for the third boundary off the over.
13.3 : 13.3: Yuzvendra Chahal to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR! Beautiful from Suryakumar! He plays the sweep shot very well and he has shown it to Chahal first hand. Tossed up on middle and leg, Yadav sweeps it through backward square leg for a boundary.
13.5 : 13.5: Yuzvendra Chahal to Krunal Pandya, OUT! CAUGHT! Krunal Pandya holes out! Another classic Chahal wicket. A nicely looped up delivery around off from Chahal. Krunal looks to go downtown but he is decieved in the air and by the lack of pace in it. He mistimes his shot and ends up hitting it straight to Chris Morris at long off. The big South frican makes no mistake. Kohli screams in joy as he knows this game is there to be won and the skipper is pumped up. 58 needed in 37! Game on!
14.4 : 14.4: Chris Morris to Hardik Pandya, SIX! Sheer timing from Hardik and he gets off the mark just like he lives his life. In flamboyant style. Full on leg and middle. Hardik lifts his flick over square leg for a biggie.
15.1 : 15.1: Mohammed Siraj to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR! FIFTY FOR SURYAKUMAR! What an innings this has been! A delight to watch! A low full toss on the pads, Yadav flicks it through square leg for a boundary to bring up his milestone.
15.2 : 15.2: Mohammed Siraj to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR! CREAMED! Slightly overpitched on off, Yadav gets on his front foot and drives it magnificently through covers for a boundary.
15.4 : 15.4: Mohammed Siraj to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR! Excellent! Siraj bangs it in short, Suryakumar bends his back and guides it fine over third man for another boundary.
16.6 : 16.6: Chris Morris to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR! The last ball proves to be very costly! 27 needed in 18 now. Very nonchalant by Yadav. It is angled into his pads, Yadav works it over the mid-wicket fielder and bags a boundary.
17.4 : 17.4: Dale Steyn to Suryakumar Yadav, SIX! That is probably the blow which seals the deal for Mumbai! Yadav goes down on one knee to play the scoop pretty early. Steyn bowls a full toss on the pads, it is scooped over the fine leg fence for a biggie.
18.4: Chris Morris to Hardik Pandya, SIX! That is a brute of a shot! Pandya also lets Morris knows how he felt after hitting that one. Wow! That is some hit. It is extremely full, difficult to get under. Pandya still manages to whip it over the wide long on fence for a biggie. Just the 7 needed.
18.5 : 18.5: Chris Morris to Hardik Pandya, OUT! TAKEN! Morris now has a go at Hardik. He gets his revenge. Still though, Hardik has probably done his job. This partnership surely has. It is a full delivery again but this is outside off. Pandya looks to go over covers but fails to get under it. He does not get the elevation he wanted and Siraj takes a good catch diving to his right.
18.6 : 18.6: Chris Morris to Kieron Pollard, FOUR! Pollard needs no sighters and he is off the mark in style! Also, just the 3 needed now. A full toss on middle, Pollard whips it through mid-wicket and it races away to the fence. Can't blame Morris there, he went for the yorker as Pollard's wicket was needed but it did not come off.
19.1 : 19.1: Mohammed Siraj to Suryakumar Yadav, FOUR! Up and over! No miracle from Siraj as Yadav just needed the one ball to finish things off. A classy drive. It is full and outside off. Yadav lofts it over covers for a boundary. MUMBAI WIN BY 5 WICKETS!
