He is the one who always manages to set a solid platform, but it is Saha who put his hand up on this slow wicket. Hardik Pandya is also finding his rhythm, sooner rather than later. If these two batters stick around for a couple more overs, then Lucknow could well be on the back foot. The hosts need to break this stand as soon as possible. 19.1 : Marcus Stoinis to Hardik Pandya, SIX! Hardik Pandya is single-handedly dragging his team to a defendable total here. Just a fraction shorter over middle, Pandya backs away and muscles it over the mid-wicket fence for a maximum.
19.2 : Marcus Stoinis to Hardik Pandya, OUT! CAUGHT! One time too many from Hardik Pandya and he has to depart. Short of a again from Marcus Stoinis and over middle and leg. Pandya just gets a bit cramped for room as he forces the pull shot flat toward long on. The timing is decent but there's no elevation on it. KL Rahul there takes a solid catch around his face and Pandya walks back after a captain's knock.

Hooda makes no mistake and Gujarat finish with 135/6 on the board!
An excellent last over from Stoinis, he made the most of his variation in the death and ended his spell with a brace, and did not let Gujarat hurt them at the very end. Nonetheless, on this slower deck, Gujarat would be delighted to get 135 on the scoreboard.
It was not an ideal start with the bat for Gujarat, as they lost Gill right in the second over of the game. Saha then put his hand up on this slower wicket and managed to find some odd boundaries to give him confidence in his strokeplay this afternoon. He along with the skipper, Hardik Pandya built a stand of 68 runs which helped to bring Gujarat's inning back on track. Saha slipped out on 47 but Hardik Pandya made sure he remained out till the very end, and came up a valuable knock of 66 runs
Krunal Pandya, is in for a spot interview. He says that he would like to take this track everywhere he goes because he is doing well on it. Adds that he had a bit of banter with his brother out in the middle and told him that he will go after him. Reckons that the pitch is decent and they should able to chase it down. Ends by saying that they have to go out and get the runs and is confident in doing so.
Right then, Lucknow has to chase down 136 runs on this tricky pitch. Gujarat do have enough quality spinners in their rank who can make it difficult for the batters out there. It can be anyones game from hereon. Do join us for the second essay to find out who comes out on top.
Lucknow were off to a flier with the ball in hand. Their new-ball combination of Naveen-ul-Haq and Krunal Pandya did wonders for them, as Naveen-ul-Haq kept things very tight with his inswingers from one end and Krunal Pandya benefitted from the same, with the early strike of Gill. Later on, their spinners did extremely well to strangle the Gujarat batters and made them work hard for the runs throughout. It wasn't easy for the batters to find boundaries in the middle overs, altough Ravi Bish

19.6 : The stuff with which dreams are made and Mohit Sharma has done it here for Gujarat! Can you believe it? Lucknow, from cruising to an easy win with balls to spare, have thrown it away and Gujarat have snatched the win right off their hands. There are incredible scenes inside the stadium and Gujarat have pulled off a heist.
Gujarat were dead and buried and with the opposition needing 30 runs off 34 balls and 9 wickets in hand, they stood no chance but Noor Ahmad dismissed Krunal Pandya on the next ball and all of a sudden, the dynamic changed. It was still pretty comfortable for Lucknow but Noor Ahmad struck again in his final over and gave his side a chance. The last three overs were decisive as Mohit Sharma and Mohammad Shami brought all their years of combined experience to suffocate the batters. With 12 ne
Lucknow will be scratching their head and thinking how did they go on to lose this game, it was in the bag halfway through the 20 overs. Skipper KL Rahul and Kyle Mayers started off briskly with a 55-run stand before the latter fell. This though was backed up with another 50-plus stand between Rahul and Krunal Pandya and it was all smooth sailing for them. However, they lost a couple of quick wickets and Rahul simply couldn't get the boundaries away under pressure. From needing less than run-
Earlier in the game, Hardik Pandya won the toss and opted to bat first on a wicket that looked difficult for batting and once the game started we got to see that indeed, it wasn't easy to score runs. Wriddhiman Saha though got away a few boundaries inside the Powerplay but there wasn't much from the other batters. Hardik Pandya came in at number 3 and stayed on the crease, watching on as his fellow batters failed to up the ante. In the death over, Pandya did manage to hit a few lusty blows t
