WOW! Who would've thought Kolkata would be heading into the break as the happier side, but boy, they have certainly turned the tables around! Guess what, 'Lord Thakur' is well and truly back!
What an inning for Kolkata. They have momentum on their side. Rahmanullah Gurbaz kept things under control initially, as he controlled things from his side, but could find little or no support from the other end. Until Rinku Singh came to the crease. They stitched a stand of 42 runs, and just when they were looking good, Gurbaz slipped out. It made things even worse for them, as Andre Russell was sent back on the very next delivery as well. Then came a knock, which no one anticipated at all.
Bangalore would be crestfallen! They have Kolkata by the scruff of the neck, but their death bowling is certainly a huge concern for them. They leaked aplenty in the first game against Mumbai, it was nothing different this time around. At the halfway mark, it was looking difficult for Kolkata to get anywhere near 150, but they have gone over 200 here.

Right then, get ready for an enticing chase. Bangalore don't have the momentum on their side, but they will look to get off to a solid start with the bat, just the way they did in the previous match. Kolkata need to pick early wickets here to put the opposition under pressure. Who will come out on top? To find out, do join us for the second essay.

Thakur just changed the momentum of the game with a sensational knock and with over 200 on the board, Kolkata had the momentum on their side. Their pacers went for plenty in the first four overs but the introduction of spin changed things around dra

Willey and Karn Sharma had done some good work at the start but they messed it up after that just like their batting group messed it up after they got off to a brisk start with Kohli and Faf du Plessis batting well at the start. None of the batters could show application against some quality spin bowling and they ended up falling well s

Nitish Rana, the skipper of Kolkata says that there were a lot of positives in the last game and adds that the same happened today with Gurbaz batting well at the top. Mentions that Shardul Thakur’s knock was unbelievable and he does not have words for it. Shardul Thakur, the Player of the Match. He jokingly says that even he doesn't know from where this knock came from.
