Abhishek Sharma says that the pitch was a bit slow and low. Adds that the plan was to put the loose deliveries away. Tells that he had a chat with Brian Lara who told him to take on the pacers in the Powerplay and whenever it was in his arc he did exactly that. Mentions that when he was batting he was looking around a total of 180-185 but they got more than that so he is happy with that. Ends by saying that he would love to bowl as he has worked hard in the nets and will give his best whenever
Right then, a massive total on a pitch that is bound to slow down as the game progresses. Hyderabad have some handy spinners in their line-up and they will be eager to take advantage of the conditions. Delhi looked to have control of the game in the first half of the inning but have conceded far too many runs and will be looking towards their batters to put on their best effort so far.
